Q: Do I need to have a lawn for the stork sign installation?

Absolutely! To ensure our signs are set up safe and sound, we need a residential lawn. That means grassy and open, no rocks, gravel, concrete, mulch, or flower beds. And steer clear of utility boxes or city structures. We’ll stake the signs 10 inches deep to ensure they’re sturdy. Any questions about where or how? Let us know in your order form!

Q: When should I reserve a stork?

Since there is always uncertainty around a baby’s arrival, we do not reserve stork signs ahead of time. Please contact us when the baby is born, and we will make the delivery within 24-48 hours of the request. We do accept reservations for the 1-day stork rentals used for baby showers or sip & see events. 

Our firm cut-off for newborn deliveries is 12:00pm the day before. Most often, we are able to install the sign(s) before the baby arrives home, but we can’t guarantee it. Rental delivery times will be communicated with the customer prior to the delivery. 

Q: How long can I rent the Stork Sign for?

Stork signs are available for 7 day rentals. Planning a party? Grab a 1 day rental for your occasion! 

Q: Where will you install the newborn announcement sign in the yard?

We’ll make sure your stork sign is just right for photos and memories! Have a specific spot in mind? Let us know, and we’ll do our best to make it happen!

Q: How do I place my order? How do I pay for your service?

First, fill out our form. This is the best way for us to make arrangements to have you sign to you in time. You can also send us an email at wacostorks@gmail.com if you have special requests that the form doesn’t cover. 

Once we receive your order form, we will send you a Quickbooks invoice. When we receive your payment, we’ll get your sign ready to go and on the delivery schedule.

Q: What is your service area?

Based out of Lorena, we’ll deliver up to 10 miles for free. 11+ miles, delivery charges are extra. We handle it all from drop-off to pickup, so you can soak up time with your sweet new babe!

Q: How much does the new baby stork lawn sign cost? Do you charge any additional fees?

Rent our stork sign for $90, bundle and all, and delivery’s just free if you’re within 10 miles of Lorena. A bit farther? Delivery charges are extra. Please see our “Pricing and Service Area” page for more details.

Q: How much are sibling/message stars/dog bones and cat signs?

We’d be happy to create these add-ons in addition to your stork sign for an extra special touch for the big siblings or pets! Sibling stars, message signs, dog bones, or cat signs, are just $25 each. Personalize them with your message and keep them after your rental is over. We offer these in pink or blue so everyone’s included! 

Q: What service do you offer for twins, triplets, and quadruplets?

Q: What Signs do you offer for proud grandparents?

Congratulations! We have stork signs for you too. We offer blue/pink storks signs with a generic baby bundle that can say, “It’s a Grandson/Granddaughter” or “Proud Grandparents!” for $80. Or you can rent a personalized baby bundle with the grandchild’s name for $90.

Q: Under what circumstances do you cancel an order?

We need payment 24 hours before delivery to guarantee your delivery date/time. We’ll reach out by phone, text, or email to remind you. Got questions? Give us a shout.

Q: What is your refund policy?

You will receive a refund if you cancel your stork sign rental at least 24 hours in advance or if there is extreme weather that prevents us from installing your sign.

Refunds will not be offered if the following apply:

  • We are unable to get into a gated community because we were not given a gate code or it doesn’t work.
  • The security guard at a gated community refuses to allow us entry. It is important that you make arrangements with the guard to give us access prior to the moment of delivery.
  • The homeowner or recipient does not allow us to set up the sign or calls us to request that we pick up the sign prior to the end of the rental period.
  • If a dog or other animal is threatening or refuses to allow us onto the property.

Q: Can I move or attach items to the sign?

No, please do not move or attach anything to the signs, including balloons. Also, please use caution when mowing or weed eating around the stork sign.

Q: What if the stork sign gets damaged during the rental period?

Please contact Waco Storks right away if you notice any damage to the stork sign. Our signs are durable, weather-resistant, and designed to last. However, the signs are not designed for climbing. We are not responsible or liable for any injuries involving the sign while it’s being rented. The renter of the stork sign assumes that responsibility and liability and also will be responsible for payment for any damage to the sign while it’s rented. By ordering a sign, the individual accepts responsibility for the sign while it’s on their or their family member’s or friend’s property. Thank you so much for your consideration and cooperation.
